NEWMAN HOUSE ON PILGRIMAGE THROUGH THE STREETS OF LONDON.
It was good to visit some of our local churches on Thursday evening and pray at their altars of repose. We managed to get to Ogle Street (the parish in which Newman House lies), Warwick Street, and St Patrick’s Soho Square (you can see their beautiful altar in the photo below). There was a post-work bank holiday atmosphere in the streets, with hundreds of people spilling out of the pubs and clubs around Fitzrovia and Soho. As we walked down Carnaby Street we joined the illuminated woman in perpetual motion: Shaida Walking by Julian Opie – see the you tube clip here if you are interested:
