Coronavirus Update 14 March

Please note:

• The house will be open for Mass and Confessions as usual (including this Sunday 15 March: Mass at 10.30am and 7.30pm; Confessions from 6.15pm to 7.15pm). But please check our Facebook page for updates this week: https://www.facebook.com/newmanhouselondon/ 
• ALL OTHER PUBLIC EVENTS ARE CANCELLED for the rest of the semester.
• A reminder that we have been asked by our bishop, Cardinal Vincent Nichols: to refrain from giving a physical sign of peace at Mass, to receive Holy Communion in the hand at this time (in order to avoid any potential spread of disease), and to stay at home if we have any signs of sickness in this period.

We are praying for all the students and staff at our universities in this very unsettled time, for their families and friends, and for all those in need throughout the world.
